AI services for laboratories

Artificial intelligence goes through your documentation and shows where things do not match – with the ISO 15189 standard or between the documents themselves. You can order either service, separately or both together – during the beta everything is free. Get in touch and we will agree on the details with you.

Two services, choose either

Each service can be ordered on its own, or both at once. The result is always a clear report and materials the laboratory can start working with right away.

AI assistant or AI service?

For specific questions – one laboratory item, one document, one question about the standard – the AI assistant (chatbot) built into slp.blue is enough. When you need to go through the whole application, i.e. all items or all documentation at once, an AI service is more thorough: it goes through every item and every document systematically, verifies the results and summarises them in a report.

Virtual audit against ISO 15189

Preparing for an assessment means going through dozens of documents and checking, for each requirement of the standard, that the documentation really covers it. A virtual audit does this work as a first pass.

Artificial intelligence goes through the laboratory's controlled documentation – the quality manual, SOPs, work instructions and forms – and compares it with the requirements of ISO 15189. For each requirement it finds where and how the documentation covers it, and points out where coverage is missing or unclear and where documents contradict each other.

What you get

  • An overview by chapter of the standard: what is covered and in which document
  • A list of gaps, ambiguities and contradictions between documents
  • A reference to the specific place in the document for each finding

Consistency of SOPs and work instructions with the method catalogue

The method catalogue and the SOPs with their work instructions describe the same examinations, but each lives a life of its own. When the analyser, the unit, the reference limits or the sampling requirements change, it easily ends up reflected in only one of them.

Artificial intelligence compares every valid method in the catalogue with every SOP linked to it. It starts with the reference limits and compares them line by line. Every finding quotes both sides verbatim – the method card in the catalogue and the SOP text with its chapter – so you can verify it within seconds.

We only read the data from slp.blue; nothing changes in the application.

What we compare

  • Reference limits line by line: age, sex, values, unit and source
  • Sampling: specimen, sample type, tube and anticoagulant
  • Sample stability and measuring range
  • Method and analyser
  • LIS codes, national code list codes and health insurance codes
  • Links between methods and SOPs

What you get

  • An Excel file with filters, one row per finding – with quotes from the catalogue and the SOP and the SOP chapter
  • Findings sorted by severity; systemic contradictions, where one sentence of an SOP affects many methods, are grouped together
  • A short PDF report for the quality manager
  • Before delivery we check a random sample of the findings and discard weak types of findings

How to order

  1. Choose a service

One or both – free during the beta. Just write to us or fill in the form below.

  2. We prepare the materials ourselves

We export the necessary data and documents from slp.blue ourselves. You do not need to prepare anything.

  3. Results by e-mail

We send you the report and materials by e-mail. You decide which suggestions to adopt.

The laboratory always decides

The outputs are prepared by artificial intelligence and serve as a basis for professional assessment. Nothing changes automatically – every change is assessed and approved by a qualified person in the laboratory.

The analysis saves that person hours of going through documents and requirements, but the decision stays with them.
